Paul is the Equipment Maintenance/Fleet Manager for the City of Culver City. He has been with the City for 25 years. Eight years ago, Paul decided to embank the City into a national fleet certification program achieving the #1 Best Green Fleet in North America for 2009 and in 2011 Culver City, Equipment Maintenance & Fleet Services Division was named the 5th best fleet in North America out of 38,000 participating fleets! He is responsible to achieve the City’s goal of purchasing CNG (Alt Fuel) powered and other alternatively fueled vehicles to remove the use of diesel (fossil fueled) vehicles wherever possible. To date, 80% of all H/D vehicles are natural gas powered. He has also developed numerous programs to continue with the goals of continuous improvement and becoming the Best fleet in the country. He has collaborated with several vehicle manufacturers to bring into market the first CNG powered vehicles in several platforms. Paul is continuously sought out for his work in advanced technology systems, fleet management practices and industry leadership. Prior to joining the City team he worked for Ferrari starting as a technician and eventually becoming the service manager for a large Ferrari dealer in Los Angeles. Paul is a active board member in MEMA, APTA, CTA, and NAFA. He holds a BA in Business and further participates as an advisory board member for technology curriculum and vocational skills training/development with the Los Angeles Community College District.
