CFCI was formed in 1999 to serve the growing infrastructure needs of automakers who were introducing zero emission electric vehicles. Over the past decade, the company has worked hand in hand with GM, Honda, and Nissan, Honda and Ford to launch their EV models, and sell, service, and install electric vehicle service equipment (EVSE). The company has installed thousands of chargers in homes, businesses and public locations in California and Arizona. Today, CFCI is the leading provider of plug in vehicle charging infrastructure. They are currently installing the infrastructure for a 450 electric vehicle demonstration for MINI USA. The President of CFCI, Enid Joffe, has been working in the electric transportation field for the past fifteen years. Before starting Clean Fuel Connection, she had an 18 year career at Southern California Edison and Edison International. During the introduction of EVs in the late 1990s she helped create more than $15 million in state and local incentives for zero emisison vehicles and infrastructure. Ms. Joffe has also been actively involved in local government for over a decade, recently completing a term as Mayor of a small community in Los Angeles County. |
